Quality and dependability
Early 2005, the team behind XS News discovered that the existing usenet providers lacked initiative to combine good prices with excellent service. From the start XS News has put itself in the market as a provider who primarily focuses on quality and service. With the support of a large group of enthusiastic subscribers we have succeeded in establishing an outstanding performing Usenet provider just within a couple of months.
Retention and speed
At the end of 2005 the desired level of quality and service was attained. Next the focus was aimed at extending the retention and increasing downloading speeds. It became possible, even during peak hours, to download at a speed of 20 Mbit. Also the retention was extended in several phases up to 40 days. This combination of speed and quality has lead to the acceptation of XS News as one of the best Usenet providers.
The largest Usenet provider
Supported by our loyal subscribers at the end of 2006 the ambitious plan came into being to become the best, storage- and speed wise, Usenet provider in the Benelux. In January 2007 all work was completed and XS News is proud to announce that the aimed goals have been attained. XS News offers unprecedented speed, 100+Mbit as well as 150+ days retention in all groups, including the so called dumpgroups. All this combined with the same prices as 2 years ago and the customer-oriented approach which has been our trademark from the beginning.
